- Associate Front-End Developer working with a team to create innovative front-end solutions at Sun Life. Collaborating on projects while gaining valuable experience in the software development domain.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with skilled team members to develop, deliver and maintain high quality applications
- Develop efficient, high-quality, documented code
- Complete coding, testing, debugging and implementation activities as required
- Manage or coordinate small to medium prototypes from ideation through planning, requirements, construction and presentation
- Develop an understanding of the business and technical needs of a project
- Identify gaps in knowledge and seek assistance from senior team members to deliver high quality solutions in a timely manner
- Ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements including performance, maintainability and stability
Requirements
- Studying towards a university degree in Computer Science or a related field with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
- Complementary experience with Agile methodology, Hack-a-thons, Innovation and Artificial Intelligence
- Experience in web application development using technologies like JavaScript/ES6, React.js, HTML, CSS, Webpack, XML/JSON
- Good understanding of web based applications and client server technologies especially frameworks such as Bootstrap
