About the role

  • Specialist responsible for 3D model management and geospatial data integration at TEHORA. Collaborating on digital twin projects using SIG and BIM technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and process 3D models (BIM, CAD, urban models)
  • Manage geospatial data and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Convert and optimize 3D models (glTF, 3D Tiles, etc.)
  • Integrate models and data into visualization platforms (web or 3D engines)
  • Develop or configure interactive 3D viewers
  • Ensure consistency between spatial data, IoT, and analytics
  • Contribute to the structuring of geospatial data and metadata
  • Optimize performance and rendering of 3D visualizations
  • Collaborate with data, IoT, and development teams
  • Document 3D/GIS/BIM integration processes and standards

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in geomatics, computer science, engineering, architecture, or a related field
  • Have 3–8 years of experience in GIS, BIM, or 3D visualization
  • Proficient with GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent)
  • Experience with BIM formats (IFC, Revit, etc.)
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling and web visualization concepts
  • Good understanding of coordinate systems and projections
  • Able to manipulate and transform complex datasets
  • Demonstrate rigor, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in French (English is an asset)
  • Required knowledge (assets):
  • Experience with web 3D visualization technologies (Three.js, Cesium, Babylon.js)
  • Familiarity with optimized 3D formats (glTF, 3D Tiles)
  • Experience integrating BIM into digital platforms
  • Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS)
  • Experience on digital twin or smart city projects
  • Familiarity with processing tools (FME, Blender, etc.)
