Responsibilities
Collaborate with leaders and program teams to develop and deliver insightful monthly capital performance reports for CTO senior leadership, conducting variance analysis and root cause investigations to drive corrective actions
Oversee capital data integrity across financial systems (RPP, SAP, Adaptive), monitor project performance, and support quarterly budget reviews and re-forecasting exercises
Lead capital governance and program review sessions, engaging stakeholders at all levels to assess risks, problem-solve, and translate ideas into actionable steps
Apply curiosity and critical thinking to dig deeper into capital data and team inputs, asking probing questions to uncover root causes, identify gaps, and ensure nothing is missed
Build trust-based relationships with capital primes, planners, and senior leaders across CTO and Finance to ensure investment decisions are well-informed and strategically aligned
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align on capital priorities, timing, and strategic trade-offs across the organization
Lead or support capital management transformation initiatives leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline planning, execution, and reporting workflows
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field
5–7 years of experience in operations, process improvement, financial planning (budgeting, forecasting), or program management
Strong financial acumen and experience in strategic planning, including building and analyzing business cases to assess benefits, costs, and risks
Process improvement mindset with experience driving operational transformation leveraging AI and automation and using methodologies such as Lean or Agile
Ability to lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneously and collaborate effectively across functions to drive alignment and change management
Understanding of AI and automation tools for streamlining work processes and conducting data analysis
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets using advanced Google Suite or Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Power Query) to support decision-making
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate complex data into compelling presentations for executive audiences
Comfortable working in a cyclical, process-driven environment with month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter deliverables
Great-to-haves: Telecommunications or capital-intensive industry experience; Technical skills in AI development, Python, Google Apps Script, SQL, or other programming/automation tools; Experience with SAP, ERP platforms (RPP, Adaptive), Analytical Dashboards (Tableau, Looker), or capital planning tools; Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or formal process improvement certification
