About the role

Bilingual UX Designer creating user interfaces for TELUS Health applications in a remote setup. Collaborating with teams across North America to improve usability for healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

Develop user scenarios and user flows based on Product Manager directives
Create high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma, adhering to our design system
Specify visual details; document design decisions clearly in Azure DevOps (ADO) so developers can implement them precisely
Collaborate closely with developers to define the scope of proposed changes and understand technical constraints
Adapt solutions to ensure feasibility and technical excellence
Work with testing teams to identify visual defects and propose solutions
Contribute to continuous improvement of the design system; extend, refine, and document new components as they evolve
Analyze improvements proposed by the team and evaluate their relevance against the overall design strategy
Support the sales team by creating visual concepts to demonstrate the feasibility of ideas to potential clients
Occasionally participate in internal presentations or feedback sessions with Product Managers and team leaders
Contribute to strategic design decisions for the team's products

3+ years of relevant experience as a UX/UI Designer
Proficiency in Figma — you must be able to design quickly, use components, prototype, and collaborate in real-time
Solid understanding of web technologies — practical knowledge of HTML and CSS
In-depth knowledge of accessibility best practices — you must understand and apply WCAG 2.1 (Level AA minimum) in your daily work
Hands-on experience integrating AI into your work (automating repetitive tasks, increasing productivity, iterating prototypes)
Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) or experience with Agile project management tools
Bilingualism in French and English, professional proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
