About the role

  • Analyst position at Teragonia developing advanced analytics solutions for private equity clients. Collaborating with analytics engineers to deliver insights and drive business value through data.

Responsibilities

  • Support a team of analytics engineers to design and develop advanced analytics solutions and be an active contributor to executing on engagement work.
  • Assist Engagement Managers and Associates in working closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored analytics solutions.
  • Assist Engagement Managers and Associates in translating client communicated business needs into an exploratory data analysis program and lead team efforts to execute.
  • Assist analytics engineering teams in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex enterprise data models to help solve operational and financial business problems.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate complex analytics insights and recommendations to senior client executives, ensuring that findings are easy to understand and actionable by senior executives.
  • Make a concerted effort to begin to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in and assist in project meetings and contribute to project deliverables.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to increase team efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design, develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines critical to the integrity of the enterprise data models.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and apply this knowledge to improve our solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with stellar academic performance from leading universities.
  • 2 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, software engineering or a related field at global consulting firms, top financial services firms, or high-growth startups.
  • Strong interest in learning how analytics insights drive business value.
  • Advanced programming skills in SQL and Python.
  • Experience in performing exploratory data analysis in a professional setting.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
