Responsibilities
Assist in leading a team of analytics engineers to design and develop advanced analytics solutions
Work closely with Clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored analytics solutions
Assist in translating Client communicated business needs into an exploratory data analysis program and lead team efforts to execute
Assist in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex enterprise data models to help solve operational and financial business problems
Develop and maintain high-quality, visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate complex analytics insights and recommendations to C-suite clients, ensuring that findings are easily understood and actionable by senior executives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Participate in and assist in project meetings and contribute to project deliverables
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to increase team efficiency and productivity
Collaborate with data engineers to design, develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines critical to the integrity of the enterprise data models
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and apply this knowledge to improve our solutions
Support cross functional innovation initiatives
Develop a sector or domain specialty
Train (both on the job and formal training) junior resources
Actively contribute to Teragonia’s recruitment efforts to attract top talent
Assist executive leadership and officers with strategic marketing initiatives
Assist with conducting research for thought leadership initiatives
Requirements
Master's in Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in Financial Due Diligence analytics practice at a Big 4 firm or equivalent
High business acumen and advanced understanding of connectivity between operational data and financial data (ERP <> CRM <> PoS <> HRIS <> P&L / trial balance / journal entries, etc.)
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and big data technologies such as Snowflake, GCP, DBT, FiveTran, Dataiku, etc. (Preferred)
Experience with data modeling methodologies and concepts (e.g., Kimball Modeling, Data Vault, Data Mesh, etc.) (Preferred)
Strong SQL or Python skills and experience with data modeling and exploratory data analysis (Preferred)
Certification in data science or analytics (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional) (Preferred)
