About the role

Project Manager leading the day-to-day delivery of construction projects at Third Space. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the safe delivery of construction activities in Vancouver.

Responsibilities

Leading the day-to-day delivery of construction projects
Working collaboratively with partners to ensure development objectives are achieved
Accountable for planning, coordinating, and safe delivery of construction activities
Active involvement in sequencing, site coordination, quality control, and issue resolution
Promoting and leading a strong safety culture on site
Supporting the commitment to delivering net-zero buildings
Managing all aspects of construction delivery from pre-construction through close-out
Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules
Actively participating in the procurement process
Reviewing construction documents for constructability and schedule impacts
Collaborating cross-functionally with in-house teams

Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology or Construction Management an asset.
3+ years experience in Construction in a Project Management capacity preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of B.C. building code and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft office, MS Project and Procore.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings and other construction documents.
Strong organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize work load and stay on top of things as the project demands increase.
Self-motivated with strong willingness and ability to learn and be challenged.
Strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution abilities.
Works effectively in a team environment.
