Summer Student assisting with lawn maintenance and general shop cleanliness at Premier Equipment. Supporting team with grounds maintenance tasks and ensuring shop remains organized and safe.
Responsibilities
Mow lawns and maintain grass areas around the property.
Operate a weed eater/trimmer to keep edges, fence lines, and hard-to-reach areas neat.
Assist with general yard and grounds maintenance as needed.
Help keep the shop clean, organized, and free of debris.
Sweep floors, remove garbage, and tidy work areas.
Support staff with basic cleanup tasks around the facility.
Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and working around the shop.
Report any equipment issues, hazards, or maintenance concerns to a supervisor.
Perform other general duties as assigned.
Requirements
Previous experience operating a lawnmower and weed eater is required.
Ability to work outdoors in various summer weather conditions.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and pride in completing tasks properly.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
Comfortable performing physical tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be a student returning to school in the fall, if applicable.
