About the role
- Program Manager overseeing the planning and execution of CDL-Toronto Sessions at Rotman School of Management. Ensuring event management services and logistics meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of CDL-Toronto Sessions
- Oversee the delivery of event management services to ensure client needs are being met
- Resolve issues that may occur during events and escalate problems as required
- Train others on the use of supported IT systems
- Run queries to gather data
- Plan and implement workflow for a group
- Create and edit a standard operating procedures manual
- Liaise with communications staff to coordinate marketing activities for events
- Prepare financial summary reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience
- Minimum five (5) years recent and related experience
- Demonstrated understanding and program deployment using technical tools (Salesforce, Airtable, Google Suite, Slack, Zoom)
- Experience working directly with start-ups and founder teams to execute programs
- Experience with in-person and virtual event planning
- Experience onboarding partners of strategic importance to the program and tech tools
- Experience and confidence working with high performing teams and multiple stakeholders
- Well-developed interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Strong team-oriented work ethic with a willingness to work independently and autonomously
- Demonstrated superior logistical planning, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional detail orientation, organization skills, and ability to prioritize competing tasks.
