Responsibilities
Maintaining ongoing relationships with donors whose cooperation is important to the University
Managing donor relations
Writing detailed analytical profiles/research documents for senior development officers to inform decision-making and strategy development
Developing and implementing plans to support donor management and stewardship strategies and/or activities
Drafting donor acknowledgment and recognition communications
Producing complex donor reports
Formatting data collected for presentations and reports
Generating standard financial reports
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
Minimum three years related professional experience is required, including experience with direct donor relations, fundraising, marketing, or specials events experience.
Demonstrated experience in donor-related research, analysis, writing and reporting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently; able to execute existing work while managing and responding to urgent opportunities.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of fundraising and donor relations concepts, principles, procedures and techniques.
Detail-oriented person with an appreciation for accuracy and thoroughness.
Exceptional communications skills, oral and written.
Excellent relationship-building skills with an ability to engage and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Experience working with a diverse array of stakeholders.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
Experience with CRM database, Arbor preferred.
Demonstrated ability to adhere to a high level of customer service, tact and confidentiality.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Evidence of leadership and initiative, tact, diplomacy, attention to detail, and creativity.
