About the role
- Project Manager delivering IMA and Capital Markets regulatory transformation for a major banking client. Driving front-to-back workstreams, governance, dependencies, and senior stakeholder delivery.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end transformation and change management initiatives focused on Capital Markets regulatory, audit, risk, and control mandates
- Build collaborative relationships with global front-to-back stakeholders across Trading Desks, Front Office, Risk Management, Finance, Operations, and Technology
- Capture business requirements and translate them for technology implementation
- Manage internal and external dependencies across workstreams
- Identify execution challenges and drive proactive solutions
- Escalate risks and issues to steering committees and senior leadership
- Provide thought leadership in target-state design
- Produce governance artifacts and performance metrics for executive forums
- Deliver IMA components across multiple front-to-back workstreams for the restarted IMA initiative
Requirements
- Proven track record delivering IMA components, including Expected Shortfall (ES), Non-Modelable Risk Factors (NMRF), Risk Factor Eligibility Test (RFET), and PLAT
- Deep Market Risk background
- Familiarity with Historical VaR (HVaR) model management, derivatives trading, and risk/P&L flows
- Hands-on experience with FRTB or other major front-office regulatory transformations
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant Capital Markets experience
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to interface directly with senior executive leaders
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Agile delivery methodologies preferred
