Senior GRC sales executive expanding Workiva’s AI-powered platform for finance, risk, and sustainability. Driving enterprise customer acquisition and complex solution sales across Western Canada.
Responsibilities
Obtain new business and customer expansion sales opportunities from Executive-level buyers and influencers in publicly-traded and large private companies
Focus on Workiva’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance suite of solutions for the Western Canada market
Build relationships and identify Workiva products and solutions that meet customer needs to drive customer acquisition within an assigned territory
Generate qualified sales pipeline through peer Sales teams, Inside Sales, Partnerships, and market-level relationship development
Conduct needs analysis and deliver compelling demonstrations of the Workiva platform
Address customer objections, remove obstacles, and find solutions to client challenges
Lead sales processes to close by showcasing Workiva’s value proposition
Update customer relationship management tools to report customer contacts
Perform pipeline analysis and forecast sales
Develop and execute sales strategies to secure sales
Rally internal support and optimize internal resources for accounts
Prioritize selling activities and ensure timely follow-through
Maintain strong understanding of Workiva products through ongoing training
Share knowledge, successes, lessons learned, and best practices with peers across teams
Requirements
6+ years experience in a related role - GRC consulting or similar complex GRC solution sales
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience
Understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model
Ability to demonstrate complex software applications
Demonstrated experience navigating and delivering sales success across large, enterprise organizations
Strong business acumen and an ability to understand complex business challenges
Executive presence and an ability to communicate at the most senior level
Ability to identify and understand the power of influencers versus buyers and how to navigate the nuances of each during the sales cycle
Ability to manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously
Ability to negotiate pricing with a focus on retaining value
Capability for achieving (and exceeding) sales quota targets
Reliable internet access required for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
