About the role
- Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role focused on building and scaling modern cloud-native platforms on Azure using Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevOps automation for a 12-month hybrid contract.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes (AKS). Build and manage PaaS services (compute, storage, databases, integrations). Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Pulumi. Automate deployments using Azure DevOps and GitHub. Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux. Work with service mesh technologies (Istio / Envoy). Ensure secure, scalable, and highly available cloud systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to define cloud architecture standards. Optimize performance, reliability, and cloud governance.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Kubernetes + Azure cloud (AKS preferred). Hands-on DevOps + CI/CD (ADO, GitHub, Jenkins). Strong Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / Pulumi). Scripting ability in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go. Experience with .NET, Node.js, or Java. Solid understanding of cloud security, RBAC, and secrets management. Experience with distributed systems and microservices environments.
