About the role
- Commercial P&C Actuary role in Toronto focusing on pricing, modelling, risk analytics, and supporting internal capability growth. Collaborate with cross-border teams on insurance products and market expansion.
Responsibilities
- Perform actuarial analysis for commercial P&C insurance (pricing, reserving, risk modelling). Collaborate with leadership and cross-border teams on risk and product strategy. Support expansion into emerging markets like Quebec and US-linked policies. Help build and grow internal actuarial capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial P&C actuarial experience (senior candidates welcome). Strong pricing, modelling, and risk analysis skills. Experience collaborating with US/foreign stakeholders. Nice-to-haves: Quebec exposure/certification, MGA/subscription insurance experience.
