- We are hiring a GCP Engineer for a remote contract position in Canada. The role involves building and supporting Cloud Run, GKE, load balancing, secrets management, IAM roles, org and project policy management, third-party vendor integrations, and application migration support. Candidates should have experience in IT management, cloud services administration, or DevOps engineering.
Requirements
- Must have experience building and supporting Cloud Run, GKE, global and regional load balancing, secrets management, IAM roles, org and project policy management, third-party vendor integrations, and application migration support. Requires 1 year of experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is a bonus. Knowledge of cloud services including storage, databases, and networking. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Kubernetes security best practices including network policies, RBAC, and secrets management. Version control systems like Git. Automating deployment pipelines and integrating them with Kubernetes. Good team player.
