About the role
- Java Full Stack Developer needed for platform modernization project with a top financial client. Contract role in Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend systems using Java and related technologies. Collaborate on agile development cycles, contribute to platform modernization, write clean code, participate in knowledge transfer, troubleshoot issues, and support project deliverables.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Java development experience, strong backend or full stack experience with Java, familiarity with Jira and Confluence, experience with Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, well-organized and self-motivated. Nice to have: Angular, NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB), banking or financial industry experience.
