About the role
- Kubernetes Engineer role designing cloud-native infrastructure with Kubernetes and PaaS services. Focus on Azure cloud platforms, IaC tools, and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms. Develop and manage PaaS infrastructure components including compute, database, storage, and integration services. Build & manage IaC modules to provision and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, etc. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub. Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems majorly on Azure cloud platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with cloud architecture best practices. Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure components. Ensure security, compliance, and governance across cloud-native and PaaS infrastructure deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with a focus on cloud-native and PaaS services. Proficiency in Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration tools. Hands-on experience with Terraform, Pulumi, and other IaC tools. Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, PowerShell, GO, and Python. Experience with Azure PaaS services or equivalent cloud platforms. Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools including ADO and GitHub. Programming experience in .NET, Node.js, or Java for infrastructure automation. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
