- Contract Python Developer role requiring 5+ years of experience with Python, SQL/MySQL, API development, AWS, Docker, and RabbitMQ. Must have cloud and microservices experience.
Responsibilities
- Python Developer role focused on building and integrating with Payroll Providers and Time & Attendance platforms. Responsibilities include working with relational databases (MySQL), developing RESTful APIs, using message brokers (RabbitMQ), and working in a container-based distributed systems environment (Docker/AWS).
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience. Proficiency in Python, SQL/MySQL, API Development, AWS, Docker, and RabbitMQ. Experience with cloud computing, container-based distributed systems, relational databases, and microservice architecture. Understanding of RDBMS concepts (locking, transactions, isolation levels). Familiarity with *nix environments and code repositories (GitHub). Excellent communication and organization skills. Must be currently in Canada with valid work authorization.
