About the role
- Experienced Full Stack Developer (Python/JavaScript/Azure) needed for internal engineering platforms, developer onboarding, and productivity initiatives. Hybrid role in Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance DevFlow quickstart templates and shared engineering components. Maintain and update technical documentation, playbooks, and development standards. Improve the onboarding experience for new engineers. Support the Internal Developer Portal initiative (Backstage). Support Static Code Analysis initiatives using SonarCloud. Support Engineering Metrics initiatives using LinearB. Monitor engineering metrics across teams and identify systemic bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. Assist with quality gate tuning and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer or Software Architect. Strong hands-on experience with: Python (FastAPI), JavaScript (NextJS), API architecture and integration patterns, Database design, schema management, and SQL, Core Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, Cloud platforms: Azure (preferred) or AWS / Google Cloud. Nice to Have: Experience with Developer Portals such as Backstage. Experience with SonarCloud, engineering metrics tools, or DevOps productivity platforms. Strong system design and architecture experience.
