About the role
- Senior DBA contract in Toronto, onsite. Requires 10+ years Oracle DBA experience, CRJMC security clearance, and expertise in Oracle 12c/19c, RAC, Data Guard, and cloud.
Responsibilities
- Senior DBA responsible for Oracle database administration including multi-tenant architecture, RAC with Grid Infrastructure/ASM, RMAN backup/restore, Data Guard configuration, data encryption with ASO/TDE, Enterprise Manager monitoring, UNIX shell scripting, SQL performance tuning, and database hosting on public cloud. Also includes MS SQL Server installation, configuration, and management.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience; expertise in Oracle 12c and 19c multi-tenant architecture, Oracle 19c RAC with Grid Infrastructure/ASM, RMAN backup and restore, Oracle Data Guard physical/logical configuration and administration; experience with data encryption using ASO/TDE, Oracle Enterprise Manager configuration, UNIX shell scripting, SQL performance tuning, Oracle database hosting on public cloud services; experience with MS SQL Server installation, configuration, and database management; strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and incident/change/configuration management skills; CRJMC security clearance required.
