Responsibilities

  • Hiring a Senior Platform Engineer for OpenShift Virtualization. This is a full-time permanent role based in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of total experience, including 5 years in infrastructure platform engineering, hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes cluster design and operations, OpenShift Virtualization or KubeVirt-based solutions, and experience delivering production-grade cluster platforms at scale.

  • Total Experience: 8-10 years • 5 years in infrastructure platform engineering • Hands-on experience with OpenShift. Kubernetes cluster design and operations • OpenShift Virtualization (or KubeVirt-based solutions) • Experience delivering production-grade cluster platforms at scale. Required Skill Set: Core Platform Red Hat OpenShift (cluster build, operations, upgrades) • Kubernetes architecture (control plane, worker nodes, scheduling) Networking (Critical): Strong knowledge of TCPIP, routing, switching, firewalls, SDN (OVN, NSX, or equivalent), network segmentation and zoning models, load balancing, Ingress, Routes, and service exposure. Automation (Critical): Ansible AAP (strong preference), Infrastructure as Code (GitOps, pipelines), Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Virtualization: OpenShift Virtualization, KubeVirt, Migration from VMware or legacy virtualization platforms.
