About the role

  • Remote contract Software Developer role for a public sector client until May 2028. Requires Bachelor's degree and 3+ years full-stack experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, Docker, Git, and CICD.

Responsibilities

  • Procom is currently looking for a Software Developer for our client in the public sector. THIS CONTRACT HAS A TBD START DATE AND GOES TILL END OF MAY 2028 (GREAT CHANCE OF EXTENSION). LOCATION: REMOTE (THE CLIENT IS IN THE OTTAWA AREA). LANGUAGE: ENGLISH. CLEARANCE: RELIABILITY (MUST HOLD BEFORE SUBMISSION). REFERENCES: ALL CITED PROJECTS. **DUE TO THIS BEING A COMPETITIVE BID, THE CLIENT DID NOT PROVIDE A RATE RANGE, SO THE RATE IS OPEN AND FLEXIBLE**.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. If obtained outside Canada, the credential must be validated by a recognized Canadian academic credentials assessment service. Must have minimum of three (3) years of experience within the past five (5) years in full-stack development using: TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, HTML/CSS. Must have minimum of three (3) years of experience within the past five (5) years using: Docker Git version control. CICD tooling such as Github, Azure DevOps, Gitlab, etc. Must have minimum of three (3) years of experience within the past five (5) years developing: cloud based full-stack web applications and working as part of an Agile and/or Scrum team.
