About the role
- Sr. Frontend Developer – Angular/Capital Markets: design responsive web interfaces, collaborate with UX and backend teams. Pay $80-$115/hr CAD.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, responsive web interfaces that deliver seamless user experiences, collaborating closely with UX, product, and backend teams to meet complex business needs. Develop responsive and dynamic web interfaces using Angular and React frameworks. Convert UX designs into clean, reusable, and maintainable UI components. Optimize interfaces for accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility. Integrate user interfaces with RESTful APIs for real-time data updates. Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot UI issues efficiently.
Requirements
- 7+ years of front-end/web development experience. Proven experience delivering production applications with React 19 and Angular 21+. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, NgRx, or Context API. Familiarity with modern build tools like Webpack and Vite. Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like Jasmine and Jest. Experience using Angular Material for UI component design. Nice to Have: OpenFin experience, Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS, Performance optimization skills, Exposure to lightweight JS frameworks, e.g., Mithril.js.
