About the role

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, business units, and compliance to facilitate project success. Document project artifacts, including scope, schedules, risks, issues, and lessons learned. Monitor project progress, ensuring accountability within the project team and providing weekly status updates to stakeholders. Manage project budget responsibilities around $1.3 million, tracking expenses and ensuring optimal resource utilization. Facilitate communication and presentations to project sponsors and steering committees. Work within a Waterfall project methodology, adhering to structured project phases and deliverables. Independently handle project tasks with minimal oversight, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing data analytics projects within large, complex banking environments. Proven ability to handle Big Data, customer information files, and sensitive data. Experience integrating data through APIs across multiple channels including branch, online banking, ATM, and regulatory systems. Strong understanding of data governance, retention, and regulatory compliance. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to document and manage project artifacts, timelines, and deliverables. Demonstrated ability to oversee project budgets and team progress. Familiarity with Waterfall project management methodologies. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. PMP certification is nice to have.
