About the role

  • Bilingual Project Manager leading software conversions, training, data migration, and integrations for PBS automotive dealership clients. Montreal-based remote role with 50% travel across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage software conversion projects for automotive dealership clients
  • Plan, organize, and execute implementation activities
  • Develop implementation plans and timelines, and ensure milestones and deliverables are met
  • Coordinate project resources, including personnel and equipment
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, timelines, and resource needs
  • Oversee customer training programs and provide ongoing training support
  • Monitor data conversion from customers’ existing systems to PBS software
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout conversion
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
  • Establish and maintain integrations with CRM platforms, DMS providers, and other third-party systems
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration
  • Maintain communication with dealership clients, internal teams, and stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues
  • Prepare and present weekly project progress reports, metrics, and documentation
  • Identify and mitigate implementation risks and issues
  • Document implementation processes and procedures for future support and maintenance
  • Serve as the primary client contact and support successful adoption of PBS Systems software

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • High school diploma
  • 1–3 years of experience working in a car dealership or the automotive industry is an asset
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management processes, methodologies, and workflows
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to two weeks per month
  • Valid passport, U.S. visa if applicable, and unrestricted full driver’s license required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, timelines, and resources simultaneously
  • Adaptability to adjust plans and strategies as needed
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, clients, and third-party vendors
  • PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset
  • Must obtain one PBS product certification within the first year of employment
