About the role
- Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (SRE – Azure) needed for a global company in Mississauga, ON. 6-month contract-to-hire, 3 days/week onsite.
Responsibilities
- The Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (SRE – Azure) will support production infrastructure, manage container orchestration with Kubernetes, use IAC tools like Terraform and Ansible, and oversee observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus. The role involves working with microservices architecture and enterprise-grade software in a development environment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as an SRE supporting production infrastructure. 6+ years of overall software engineering experience. Extensive experience with Azure. Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Helm, Packer, Ansible, ARM, PowerShell, Shell scripting, Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, microservices architecture, and at least two years managing Kubernetes production systems.
