Responsibilities
Ensure the performance and reliability of advanced systems like Coroflow and OPTIS by installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment that supports patient care.
Serve as a key technical expert, providing high-quality service and training to healthcare professionals while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Perform installations, emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance of Abbott’s Vascular Division instrumentation.
Perform technology installation, configuration, connectivity, calibration, safety/functional testing emergency repair, preventative maintenance, and product updates at customer site of the Vascular product lines.
Provides in-service training to clinicians on the use of Abbott Vascular technology platforms and accessories, primarily Coroflow and OPTIS systems.
Establish and sustain active communication link with CSC personnel, and provide daily support for all territories as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Biology or Chemistry) is required.
1 to 3 years of experience in an electrophysiology or cardiology lab.
Demonstrated familiarity with cardiac catheterization lab procedures and protocols.
Ability to understand and comply with company policies and applicable industry laws and regulations.
Personal computing skills with ability to perform word processing/spreadsheet tasks to perform documentation, presentation, and analysis activities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a diverse cross-functional team environment.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in a preceptor role.
Travel up to 75%.
