About the role

  • Product Manager leading Voyage Optimization initiatives within Accelleron, driving strategy and collaboration across teams in marine technology. Ensuring delivery of complex products and aligning stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall end to end program for Voyage Optimization, ensuring that all applications, initiatives, and Product Owners are aligned and delivered on a coherent product strategy.
  • Partner with the Voyage Operations and Sales teams to define and communicate the overarching product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Translate customer and market insights into actionable product strategies and priorities.
  • Ensure coherence and alignment across applications, working with Product, Platform and Engineering to fit solutions into the broader technical architecture.
  • Align Product Owners, development teams, UX/UI, and business stakeholders on priorities, objectives, and timelines.
  • Manage dependencies and risks across applications to ensure smooth delivery of program goals.
  • Track progress, key metrics, and outcomes at the program level, ensuring business objectives are met.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and decision-making to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles.
  • Ensure consistent product governance, documentation, and reporting across all workstreams.
  • Support senior leadership in strategic planning and resource allocation for the product program.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager with responsibility for complex products or programs involving multiple teams or applications.
  • Strong operational understanding of key maritime stakeholders (e.g. shipowners, operators, charterers), and their decision-making interaction.
  • Solid commercial acumen in the marine sector including TC vs VC dynamics, bunker cost drivers and the financial impact of route and speed optimization.
  • Demonstrated capability to analyze market trends, customer requirements and evolving frameworks to inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Lean methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to align multiple Product Owners and teams towards common goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Experience with product management and program tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Experience in the marine industry, particularly within the voyage optimization domain, is preferred.
  • Experience in scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
  • Prior experience coordinating multiple POs or managing a product program.
  • Willingness to travel
