About the role

  • Banking Services Program Analyst supporting accurate and reliable electronic payment operations for Alberta. Coordinating banking activities and collaborating with ministries on program requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily banking activities
  • Validate information and resolve operational issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in payment, reconciliation, and revenue processes
  • Monitor and support daily operational workflows
  • Collaborate with ministries and system partners to assess impacts and resolve issues
  • Participate in testing and updates for new tools or procedures
  • Support reconciliation tasks and prepare reports
  • Build relationships with ministries, Shared Services teams, and financial institutions

Requirements

  • University degree in a related field, with no required experience
  • Understanding of GoA program operations, banking processes, electronic payments, and reconciliation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and large ERP systems
  • Knowledge of banking and electronic payment processes
  • Experience with financial operations, digital payments, or process improvement initiatives (assets)
