About the role
- Banking Services Program Analyst supporting accurate and reliable electronic payment operations for Alberta. Coordinating banking activities and collaborating with ministries on program requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily banking activities
- Validate information and resolve operational issues
- Contribute to continuous improvements in payment, reconciliation, and revenue processes
- Monitor and support daily operational workflows
- Collaborate with ministries and system partners to assess impacts and resolve issues
- Participate in testing and updates for new tools or procedures
- Support reconciliation tasks and prepare reports
- Build relationships with ministries, Shared Services teams, and financial institutions
Requirements
- University degree in a related field, with no required experience
- Understanding of GoA program operations, banking processes, electronic payments, and reconciliation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and large ERP systems
- Knowledge of banking and electronic payment processes
- Experience with financial operations, digital payments, or process improvement initiatives (assets)
