Responsibilities
Lead the strategic direction for Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and Medical Secretaries
Foster a collaborative and positive clinical work environment
Bridge communication between the clinical team and management
Align clinician feedback with business objectives and balance retention with organizational goals
Harmonize processes, communications, policies, training, and operations nationally across Canada
Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols
Conduct chart audits and clinical reviews
Manage patient escalations
Formalize continuing medical education
Introduce and support processes and metrics to optimize operational efficiency
Serve as a jurisdictional clinical practice expert
Navigate regulatory environments and practitioner scope-of-practice limitations
Lead province-specific lab strategies
Represent the clinical perspective in business meetings and client engagements
Shape innovative programs and services and drive continuous improvement in patient-centered care
Requirements
Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in good standing with the affiliated regulatory body
Bilingualism and mastery in French and English, spoken and written, is mandatory
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Prior team oversight experience
Change management experience
Strong organizational and facilitation skills
Data analysis and leadership abilities
Passion for growth and development in a fast-paced environment
Keen interest in technology and healthcare
High comfort with IT systems, including Google Suite, Windows, and Mac OS
Curious, analytical, entrepreneurial, resourceful, adaptable, and communicative
Able to work 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Advanced knowledge of English required for regular interaction with English-speaking external and internal parties and use of English-only IT tools
