About the role

  • Project Manager leading complex capital infrastructure projects at the Ministry of Forestry and Parks. Responsible for project delivery, compliance, and stakeholder engagement in Alberta.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of complex capital infrastructure projects
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Oversee all project phases from initiation to construction and close-out
  • Conduct site inspections and facilitate issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with ministry policies and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in engineering or science Major
  • Minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in managing capital infrastructure or construction projects
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to interpret and review technical design drawings, construction specifications, and engineering reports
  • Proficient use of project management and office productivity software including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook
