About the role
- Solutions Architect responsible for designing and delivering IT infrastructure solutions for clients. Lead technical projects and mentor junior architects within Arctiq's diverse environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver IT infrastructure solutions across various environments
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients
- Oversee technical delivery of infrastructure projects
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and architectural governance
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to architecture practice
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT Infrastructure
- Strong focus on solution architecture across server, storage, network, and data center domains
- Proven track record delivering complex multi-vendor infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of server, storage, network, and data center planning
- Experience with enterprise storage (SAN, NAS, object storage) and Microsoft Azure hybrid infrastructure design
- 2–4 years of post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- TOGAF 9 or 10 Certified (or equivalent enterprise architecture framework) — Preferred but not required
