About the role

  • Lead product development for eCommerce, business applications, and data platforms at Article. Collaborate across teams to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product development across Article’s digital platforms, including eCommerce systems, internal business applications, and data platforms.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define product strategy, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision making.
  • Look at the whole picture, analyze, and decide how to prioritize each initiative as business submits requests for work.
  • Balance business priorities, technical constraints, and cross-system dependencies while driving the delivery of complex initiatives across multiple teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software product management experience.
  • Must have worked in retail/eCommerce, ideally also knowing supply chain, or logistics (especially with enterprise software supporting these domains — strong asset).
  • Experience in organizations undergoing tech debt reduction, legacy system migration, or platform re-architecture (highly desirable).
  • Proven ability to own and drive roadmap strategy and definition: able to synthesize competing priorities — technical debt, feature requests, business needs — into a clear, actionable roadmap aligned with company goals.
  • Track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and high technical ambiguity.
  • Stakeholder management and influence; able to work with strong personalities, get alignment, negotiate trade-offs, and secure buy-in — often under pressure.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Experience working closely with engineering and operational teams.
  • Experience using Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Legally able to work in Canada.
  • Completion of criminal background check.

  • The salary range is $129,600 to $165,000
  • Starting salary is determined by your transferable skills, knowledge, work experience, and the hiring team’s budget, which is based on business needs, market compensation data, and internal equity
