Responsibilities
Drive product development across Article’s digital platforms, including eCommerce systems, internal business applications, and data platforms.
Partner closely with engineering teams, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define product strategy, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision making.
Analyze and prioritize business requests for work and determine how to address each initiative.
Balance business priorities, technical constraints, and cross-system dependencies while driving the delivery of complex initiatives across multiple teams.
Establish product strategy and roadmaps.
Collaborate with Engineering Managers and development teams to ensure high-velocity delivery frameworks.
Mentor, coach, and elevate the product management community within Article.
Act as a trusted advisor to business teams to gather complex requirements and ensure alignment on product priorities.
Facilitate high-impact feedback loops and manage negotiations and cross-departmental alignment.
Requirements
10+ years of software product management experience.
Must have worked in retail/eCommerce, ideally also knowing supply chain, or logistics (especially with enterprise software supporting these domains — strong asset).
Experience in organizations undergoing tech debt reduction, legacy system migration, or platform re-architecture (highly desirable).
Proven ability to own and drive roadmap strategy and definition: able to synthesize competing priorities — technical debt, feature requests, business needs — into a clear, actionable roadmap aligned with company goals.
Track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and high technical ambiguity.
Stakeholder management and influence; able to work with strong personalities, get alignment, negotiate trade-offs, and secure buy-in — often under pressure.
Experience working closely with engineering and operational teams.
Experience using Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Legally able to work in Canada.
Completion of criminal background check.
Benefits
The salary range is $180,000 to $195,000
Starting salary is determined by your transferable skills, knowledge, work experience, and the hiring team’s budget, which is based on business needs, market compensation data, and internal equity
