Service Technician repairing and upgrading automated pedestrian doors for ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. Diagnosing electro-mechanical systems and serving customers, end-users, and contractors.
Responsibilities
Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations
Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic
Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring
Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors
Provide exceptional customer service
Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training
Lift, position, and install door components as required
Requirements
Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices
Minimum age of 21
Must successfully obtain AAADM certification within twelve (12) months of employment and maintain certification as required
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring
Access control systems knowledge is a plus
Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware is preferred
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively
Ability to occasionally lift, position, and install door components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions as required
