About the role
- Concrete repair technician-labourer performing demolition, placement, finishing, formwork, and waterproofing. Supporting Vector Construction’s structural restoration projects across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Perform concrete repair
- Perform concrete demolition
- Perform concrete placement and finishing
- Perform light formwork
- Replace rebar
- Apply coatings and waterproofing
- Perform epoxy injection
- Perform equipment grouting
- Perform sandblasting
- Travel to local and out-of-town project sites as required
- Work day and night shifts depending on job schedules
- Contribute to Vector Construction's concrete repair and restoration projects across Canada
Requirements
- Understanding of construction equipment, tools and materials
- 1-5+ years of prior construction experience preferred but not required
- Must be open to traveling
- Must be flexible in working day shift and night shift hours, depending on the job schedules
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Comfortable working at high heights as some projects may require man lifts or scaffold systems
- Comfortable working on or around water as some projects may require this
- Reliable transportation to travel to and from project sites locally and/or out of town
- Hourly rates depend on experience
