About the role

  • Project Manager leading noise and vibration measurements, calculations, compliance studies, and technical projects for AtkinsRéalis engineering clients. Developing mitigation solutions and reports across infrastructure, industrial, and building sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and undertake field noise and vibration measurements and data analysis
  • Conduct impact, compliance, and noise reduction studies for industrial, road, rail, renewable energy, buildings, and institutional projects
  • Perform indoor and outdoor sound propagation calculations using specialized software
  • Verify calculations and conduct peer reviews
  • Evaluate mitigation measures and verify their performance
  • Write and contribute to study reports
  • Prepare service proposals and participate in business development activities
  • Manage projects under the supervision of the Acoustics and Vibrations Team Leader

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering or science
  • PMP or CAPM certification is an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in acoustics and vibration engineering
  • Experience with environmental noise and vibration measurements, acoustic calculations, and impact/compliance studies
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of acoustics and vibration fundamentals, including human perception, sound propagation in free and reverberant fields, and general noise and vibration control methods
  • Demonstrated experience managing technical projects, including planning, coordination, and delivery
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to prepare technical reports and client-facing documentation
  • Bilingualism in French is an asset
  • Driver's license and car
