About the role
- Senior Project Coordinator supporting transformative transit infrastructure projects in Toronto. Collaborating with project teams to ensure efficient planning, coordination, and execution.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily project activities across design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Support Project Managers in monitoring project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables.
- Track progress and identify schedule impacts, delays, and mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, utilities, and client representatives to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, work plans, status reports, and progress updates.
- Participate in design coordination meetings, construction meetings, and stakeholder workshops.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction progress, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 – 8 years of project coordination experience within Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, transit, rail, transportation, commercial, industrial, or institutional projects
- Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code, applicable CSA standards, and industry best practices
