About the role
- Junior Lawyer supporting Atos’s Canadian digital-services contracts, negotiations, compliance, and risk mitigation. Collaborating with business stakeholders from Atos’s Montreal office.
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Provide legal support for customer, supplier, partner, and subcontractor transactions
- Advise business stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, risk allocation, and compliance requirements
- Conduct legal research and analysis on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters
- Assist with legal governance, policy implementation, compliance initiatives, and audit activities
- Support collaboration with Contract Management teams
- Maintain legal documentation, templates, and knowledge repositories
- Identify legal and commercial risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and French is required
- Quebecois French knowledge is preferred
- Ability to work from the Montreal office a minimum of two to three days per week
- Ability to provide legal support across commercial, contractual, compliance, and corporate matters
- Ability to review, draft, negotiate, interpret, and administer commercial agreements and legal/business documents
- Ability to identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, commercial, and compliance risks
- Ability to collaborate with Legal, Contract Management, Sales, Delivery, Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, and other business stakeholders
