About the role

  • Senior Delivery Manager leading strategic initiatives across Aviso’s wealth management and investment services organization. Coordinating Agile squads, budgets, risks, stakeholders, and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead successful delivery of strategic initiatives across business and technology teams
  • Plan, govern, and deliver initiatives throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Manage scope, dependencies, risks, decisions, and execution readiness
  • Coordinate Agile Squads and partner with Product Owners, Product Designers, and Technology Leads
  • Drive alignment across squads and stakeholders on roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and delivery plans
  • Manage multiple projects within the program portfolio in alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop project plans and progress reports covering scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and resource allocation
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned and improvement areas
  • Define project requirements, objectives, and success criteria with stakeholders
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, provide updates, gather feedback, and maintain alignment
  • Promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture and provide guidance and performance feedback
  • Develop and manage project budgets; track expenditures, costs, and resource use
  • Implement quality assurance processes for project deliverables
  • Identify, assess, manage, and report project risks and develop mitigation or contingency plans

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 5+ years of Program Management experience within the Wealth, Banking, or Financial Services industry
  • Proven experience managing Capital Markets projects and/or delivering regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and industry standards
  • Experience with program lifecycle disciplines and integrated systems lifecycle development using agile, waterfall, hybrid, or other development models
  • Proven track record leading multiple projects/programs across complex, matrix organizations and building cross-functional relationships
  • Experience developing and delivering executive-level program/project reporting
  • Functional knowledge of project accounting, budget planning, cost control, capital/expense approval, and project tracking procedures
  • Superior negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and broad knowledge of technology-focused business practices
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
  • PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe, or equivalent work experience is preferred
  • French bilingual skills are an asset
  • Comfortable with changing specifications and standards and leading a team through ambiguity
