Responsibilities
Animate 2D characters and props, aligning them with the project's artistic vision and quality standards.
Adjust animation sequences based on notes from leads, supervisors, and directors.
Handle sequences of varying complexity, collaborating with leadership, production and team members to solve problems and share insights.
Engage in dailies, rounds, and team discussions for creative and technical improvements.
Adhere to pipeline workflows and technical requirements for seamless integration into the production process.
Maintain consistency in quality while meeting production needs.
Manage time effectively, working with production to stay on schedule.
Keep the team and production staff informed about progress, challenges, and solutions.
Requirements
Previous production experience as a 2D Animator or similar role in animation.
A portfolio that demonstrates extensive experience using Adobe Animate for animation.
High-level polish in animation, with strong character acting skills (e.g., comedy, subtle expressions, dynamic movement).
Strong understanding of traditional 2D animation principles.
Proficiency in 2D cut-out animation workflows and techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively promote solutions, share knowledge, and incorporate feedback.
