About the role
- Systems Administrator managing the installation and administration of tech infrastructure for Bardel Entertainment. Collaborating with teams and ensuring optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Bardel’s Systems Administrations operation standards of installation, configuration, and administration of the tech infrastructure
- Collaborate across multiple teams to design and deploy highly redundant and secure systems.
- Administration and maintenance of physical, virtual and Cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and ensure production facing services are performing to the required standard.
- Focus on continuous improvement and automation of repetitive tasks/procedures. Work with Desktop support team on ticket escalations and technical knowledge sharing.
- Assist in implementing new systems and keep project on time and on budget.
- Provide input into potential improvements in efficiency, reliability and performance of the animation pipeline.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with automated deployment (Foreman, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform etc.)
- Configuration management experience, ideally with Puppet/Ansible
- Experience administering Microsoft Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
- Orchestration of containerized environments, i.e. Kubernetes, Docker
- Scripting knowledge, preferably bash / PowerShell
- Windows/Linux software deployment and OS imaging (Foreman, Chocolatey, Artifactory, etc)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver project deliverables on time and in scope
