About the role
- Travel Consultant booking compliant business travel for BCD Travel, which simplifies corporate travel through digital experiences. Advising clients on reservations, policies, fares, and travel regulations.
Responsibilities
- Search and confirm travel reservations for customers
- Consult customers based on their travel policies
- Fulfill requests regarding DOT, TSA, passports, visas, and other necessary regulations
- Provide industry information including low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
- Review operational processes and commercial relationships with clients and suggest improvements
- Maintain, communicate, and expand current knowledge of supported travel industries
- Communicate and respond to requests from current and new clients
- Help clients travel smart and achieve more
Requirements
- Travel agent experience
- Relevant skills in GDS Sabre
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
- Flexibility in scheduling is a core requirement
