About the role
- Business Intelligence Analyst leveraging BI tools to analyze business needs and develop data solutions for damage insurance. Collaborating with teams to ensure quality reporting and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from business units and propose appropriate data solutions
- Perform detailed requirements analysis and draft the specifications needed to develop reports and dashboards
- Contribute to the development of reports and dashboards in accordance with best practices and standards
- Act as the reference for updating the BI tool's semantic layer
- Collaborate with business partners to identify test cases and perform functional testing to ensure deliverable quality
- Ensure the performance, deployment, and evolution of reports and dashboards
- Provide user support, including troubleshooting issues and user guidance
- Write documentation for information products to ensure proper use
- Work closely with the data warehouse team and keep your knowledge up to date
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in organizational information systems, business intelligence, statistics, computer science, or equivalent
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in business intelligence
- Familiarity with Cognos, Power BI, or another business intelligence (BI) tool
- Knowledge of SQL and SAS
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written
