About the role

Business Intelligence Analyst leveraging BI tools to analyze business needs and develop data solutions for damage insurance. Collaborating with teams to ensure quality reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements from business units and propose appropriate data solutions
Perform detailed requirements analysis and draft the specifications needed to develop reports and dashboards
Contribute to the development of reports and dashboards in accordance with best practices and standards
Act as the reference for updating the BI tool's semantic layer
Collaborate with business partners to identify test cases and perform functional testing to ensure deliverable quality
Ensure the performance, deployment, and evolution of reports and dashboards
Provide user support, including troubleshooting issues and user guidance
Write documentation for information products to ensure proper use
Work closely with the data warehouse team and keep your knowledge up to date

Bachelor's degree in organizational information systems, business intelligence, statistics, computer science, or equivalent
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in business intelligence
Familiarity with Cognos, Power BI, or another business intelligence (BI) tool
Knowledge of SQL and SAS
Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written
