About the role
- Data Architecture Consultant defining governed data solutions for Beneva’s insurance and financial-services business. Modeling DataVault and dimensional data while guiding integration and architecture strategy.
Responsibilities
- Define and document data solutions in accordance with established architecture principles
- Ensure compliance with development and data governance standards
- Create data models according to Data Vault and dimensional modeling standards
- Understand and use various data integration patterns
- Contribute to product backlog prioritization and development
- Participate in managing project interdependencies and issues
- Support the team in design and implementation, in accordance with the established methodology
- Actively participate in technology watch activities, particularly in AI and best practices
- Promote built-in quality and the achievement of functional and non-functional requirements
- Evolve and communicate the architecture vision
- Contribute to the implementation of Beneva’s data strategy
- Support the Director, Operational Data Ecosystem
- Support the team in applying the methodology and ensure the quality of deliverables
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in BI/data, depending on the level of the candidate sought
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proficiency in SQL
- Relevant experience in ETL development
- Knowledge of data integration mechanisms
- Strong command of data modeling concepts
- Fluency in French, both spoken and written
- Working proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Experience with or a master’s degree in AI-assisted development, experience with CDP or MDM projects, knowledge of Snowflake, knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure, and experience in agile projects are assets
