Responsibilities
Deliver business-critical outcomes through product contributions to the Go-based, cross-OS endpoint agent cybersecurity platform
Develop cloud microservice components using Typescript and Go
Apply design and architecture expertise and design-pattern best practices
Optimize performance, scale, and resiliency of software
Collaborate across cross-functional groups and manage expectations and needs
Mentor other engineers and lead complex, cross-functional projects
Communicate technical solutions aligned with high-level business objectives
Provide clear progress updates
Help stop cyber-attacks and protect Blackpoint Cyber’s growing customer base
Requirements
5+ years of industry experience with Go development
Familiarity using Typescript and Go for building and maintaining cloud microservices
Experience building and consuming REST APIs, with a focus on secure, scalable, fault-tolerant services
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar, automating testing, deployment, and scaling of services
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Ability to lead sprint planning, break down large initiatives, and align team efforts with business objectives
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven track record of diagnosing complex issues, devising effective solutions, and implementing innovative approaches
Deep understanding of security best practices, especially in Windows environments, such as securing APIs, handling sensitive data, and managing authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT) (nice to have)
Experience delivering robust, cross-platform-friendly applications (nice to have)
Authorization to work in Canada without restriction
