About the role

  • Director managing digital banking, card, and payments implementations for Brim Financial’s banking and fintech clients. Owning client relationships, delivery operations, portfolio health, and roadmap input.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day execution of complex, large-scale digital banking, card, and payments platform implementations
  • Manage scope, timeline, risk, and cross-functional coordination to deliver on time
  • Build and run minimum-viable implementation processes, including status cadence, RAID log, and decision log
  • Own client-facing status communications, translating engineering and product progress into business terms
  • Maintain clear ownership of open items internally and with clients
  • Own coverage for several existing banking and fintech clients
  • Build and grow relationships across the client portfolio
  • Run account operating cadences, including QBRs, roadmap check-ins, and prioritization sessions
  • Coordinate Product and Engineering input on feasibility and sequencing while owning agenda, follow-through, and client narrative
  • Track portfolio health using KPIs, adoption, satisfaction, and support/escalation trends
  • Flag risks early and package client feedback into structured product-prioritization input
  • Maintain a single source of truth for each account, including health status, commitments, roadmap requests, and key contacts
  • Lead post-incident and post-issue client reviews
  • Translate technical root causes into business-appropriate explanations and forward-looking action plans

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years' experience across consulting and project management
  • Strong enterprise relationship management background
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and managing complex, large-scale implementations
  • Proven ability to build and deepen client trust and relationships in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong track record of building operating rhythms with clear accountability in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in a structured, succinct, executive-ready way
  • Comfortable communicating status and risk to executive and board-level audiences
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Data-driven decision-making approach
  • Comfort working closely with Product and Engineering teams, data, reporting, and portfolio analytics
  • Highly self-motivated and adaptable
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and accountability
  • Experience managing credit card or lending portfolios at a bank, issuer, or fintech is a bonus
  • Consulting background with financial services clients is a bonus
  • Experience with AI/LLMs and technical teams is a bonus
