About the role

  • Director owning digital banking, card, and payments implementations for Brim Financial, a fintech powering credit and payments programs. Managing client relationships, portfolio health, and delivery across Canadian Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day execution of complex, large-scale digital banking, card, and payments platform implementations
  • Manage scope, timeline, risk, and cross-functional coordination
  • Build and run minimum-viable implementation processes, including status cadence, RAID log, and decision log
  • Own client-facing status communications, translating engineering and product progress into business terms
  • Maintain clear ownership of open items internally and with clients
  • Own coverage for several existing bank and fintech clients
  • Build and grow relationships across a client portfolio
  • Run account operating cadences, including QBRs, roadmap check-ins, and prioritization sessions
  • Coordinate with Product and Engineering leads on feasibility and sequencing
  • Track portfolio health, including KPIs, adoption, satisfaction, and support/escalation trends
  • Translate portfolio health into read-outs for internal teams and clients
  • Flag risks early and package client feedback into structured product-prioritization input
  • Maintain a single source of truth for each account
  • Lead post-incident and post-issue client reviews with business-appropriate explanations and action plans

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years' experience across consulting and project management
  • Strong enterprise relationship management background
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and managing complex, large-scale implementations
  • Ability to build and deepen client trust in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong track record building operating rhythms with clear accountability
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in a structured, succinct, executive-ready way
  • Comfortable communicating status and risk to executive and board-level audiences
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Data-driven decision-making approach
  • Comfort working closely with Product and Engineering teams, data, reporting, and portfolio analytics
  • Highly self-motivated and adaptable
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and accountability
  • Bonus: experience managing credit card or lending portfolios at a bank, issuer, or fintech
