About the role
- Business Systems Analyst leading Canopy’s systems initiative. Collaborating closely with Operations & Finance to enhance efficiency and impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day execution of Canopy’s business system initiative
- Work in close partnership with the Head of Operations & Finance
- Coordinate support from the Operations Manager and IT Coordinator
- Focus on the operationalization of a Salesforce overhaul
- Support the rollout of new accounting systems
- Lead the development of an intranet and knowledge management platform
- Establish a document management infrastructure
- Improve internal online communication channels
- Apply design thinking and process improvement methods
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience practicing business systems analysis, systems implementation, OR compelling equivalent experience
- Experience with business systems (CRM, ERP, HRIS, accounting, marketing, or service platforms)
- Ability to apply design thinking to translate identified organizational and user needs into practical system releases
- Strong process improvement, change management, and project management skills
- Strong data management skills, including imports/exports, formatting, deduplication, field mapping, cleanup, reconciliation
- Experience working with role- and permission-based access models
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional attitude under pressure
