About the role

  • Product Designer crafting AI-powered software for governments at Clariti Cloud. Designing research-led UX/UI, prototypes, and workflows for municipal staff and public applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full design arc from user flows through wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes
  • Design AI-enabled experiences that translate complex capabilities into clear, trustworthy interactions
  • Use a Figma + Claude Design hybrid workflow to generate and iterate screens, produce production-ready UX/UI, and build clickable HTML prototypes
  • Design for local municipal government staff and public applicant personas across complex, multi-role workflows
  • Ensure touchpoints are accessible, consistent, and suitable for real-world use
  • Apply emerging design patterns, particularly those related to AI interactions
  • Lead and participate in user research, interviews, usability testing, and synthesis
  • Partner with Product to validate concepts early and reduce delivery risk
  • Contribute to and extend the shared design system
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure components are buildable and design intent is preserved
  • Work with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to move work from idea to shipped
  • Present design work to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
  • Shape how AI-assisted design works at Clariti

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product design experience
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking and high-quality visual execution
  • Comfort designing products where AI is part of the experience
  • Hands-on experience with Claude or similar LLMs as a design partner
  • Proficiency in Figma and Claude Design, including component libraries and prototyping
  • Strong end-to-end design skills across information architecture, flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI for web applications
  • Experience leading or contributing to user research and usability testing
  • Clear, confident communication and ability to articulate design decisions and take feedback constructively
  • Self-directed and accountable, with comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first environment
  • Successful candidates must undergo comprehensive background checks before joining
  • Bonus: experience designing enterprise or government-facing SaaS products
  • Bonus: exposure to complex, multi-persona or workflow-heavy applications
  • Bonus: familiarity with WCAG 2.1+ and inclusive design practices
  • Bonus: familiarity with agentic development frameworks
